I. INTRODUCTION According to Vince Combardi, “the achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual”. In organization, each individual must gives effort in order to accomplish organizational goals. But how can they operate efficiently and effectively if they were not organized properly and they don’t know there job description? That’s why in operating organization it requires to have an organizational structure, in able for it to grow and be profitable. Here are the definition of some terms that will be going to used in further discussion: Organizational Structure – consist of activities such as task allocation, coordination and supervision, which are directed towards the achievement of organizational aims. Organizational Goal - it is the center concept in the sky of organization. Human Resources – is the set of individuals who make up the work force of an organizational business sector or an economy. Organization – is a group of people who work together to achieve some specific purpose. Organizational Structure of an organization tells you the character of an organization and the value it believes in. I choose this topic about organizational structure, for me to know how important structuring the organization is. This paper is intended to discuss the importance of organizational structure in ever business particularly in business functions, its communication, in evaluating employees, in achieving goals and in prevention and solution of any problems. The models of organizational structure like department, product, regional and matrix organizational structure will be going to discussed too.
