This book also helps show the pride that I have in my family. My family is a big part of my life and I have been proud of them in many ways. My family has managed to remain close even though most of my family still lives in Lithuania and the fact that as a family we are all still close and support each other makes me very proud of the bond that we all share with one another. Lastly, Lithuania has impacted me culturally. I have learned many things from my family that have helped me grow to be a better person.
This story has many important lesson, an ample amount I could benefit from myself. One major theme in the book was the importance to know and respect ones history. Throughout the book Sundiata shows great respect for what came before him. For example, his admiration of Alexander the great and how he wanted to somewhat embody the essence of a similar spirit or how even in his fathers death he still honored the alliances created by his father which later on helped him on becoming a great ruler. I think in today’s context we should take from this to honor our ancestors and take heed of their knowledge and wisdom because we can all gain from their experiences.

She took the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and have a conference with me and go over any questions. It made it easier to figure out exactly what she was looking for in my paper.
I loved the fact that Mr. Kinard spoke about taking care of what you have been given and gave Costco as an example. He explained that Costco

Their participation ought to be an essential part of any research of this nature.
