The Lemuroid that we believe to be the oldest is the ringed tailed Lemur. We believe that the ring tailed lemur originated in the tropical rainforests of Madagascar. This is believed because Madagascar is the only place in the world were the lemur is found and as the continents drifted, Madagascar was the only place that these primate could have stayed adapted to. The pelvis feature of the lemur is narrow and long, which is quite similar in most primates in all grades excluding the human. The ring tailed lemur is able to stand on its two feel however, not for long.
John Smith Sloths If someone was to ask you to name some of the dumbest mammals in the world, odds are that the sloth would come up as an answer. Sloths are one of the weirdest animals in the world, but sometimes weirdness animals have intellectual minds. Bill Gates quotes, “I will always choose a lazy person to do a difficult job because, he will find an easy way to do it.” Concept of laziness has its pluses for sloth due to its protection of itself and simple foods that grow beside it. Sloth’s laziness gives out the notion of finding short cuts to survive through life by hardly doing anything. Sloth’s are an odd looking mammal, 16 to 24 inches long and weighing 5 to 10 pounds.
Do you think we are caring for this animal as God would have us care for them? I think there are people who take great care in looking after Monkey’s, the people who work in the Zoo’s and the people who are trying to protect the Monkey’s in the forest. But there are always people who try and take advantage of these creatures for there own gain, and mostly that is for money. They had a gorilla-like cranial crest, strong teeth muscles, and a robust craniodental anatomy. They lived at the same times as the Homo genus and also probably came from the genus Australopithecus. The chimpanzees at the zoo carry a human diet. They enjoy eating fruits and meats, water, and tasty nuts. Although chimps are bipedal they choose to, most of the time walk on all fours. That is something we as humans do not have in common with chimpanzees. Although we can crawl, we use only our feet to walk and run.
Rifkin fails to realize that Koko was a special case and doesn’t represent the entire gorilla population. Koko is only able to use sign language and communicate because humans taught her to. Not all animals can learn sign language. Gorillas are one of the more intelligent species so they were able to. But does Rifkin expect a pig or a dog to be capable of the same feat?
