My Opinion about Daisy Buchanan Many people in the world have a successful life. For example, Bill Gates is a famous person in the world. He becomes famous because of his willingness to be successful. He spent his life being trained for a great thing. He does not relax in his life, but he is doing a great work. In the book of the Great Gatsby shows something that upside down from that statement. There is one character in this book whose called Daisy Buchanan. Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby is a girl who makes her success from the easiest and the most comfortable choice for her, such as in her early life, in marrying Tom, and in becoming Gatsby’s affair; badly, she is a careless person. Daisy has a very nice life ever since she was born. She was born into a rich family. Everything she needs can easily be fulfilled. She grows up as the most popular girl of all the young girls in Louisville. ‘“It was full of money that was the inexhaustible charm that rose and fell in it, the jingle of it, the cymbal’s song of it. High in a white palace the king’s daughter, the golden girl”(120). It shows that Daisy’s father is rich, and she is treated like a princess. She lives in a huge house. Her wealth can bring her to her success. She perceives that her property can bring her to her success easily. She only depends on her parent’s legacy. Marrying Tom is something that makes her life better. Tom Buchanan is a very rich man, who lives in a big mention in West Egg. ‘“His family was enormously wealthy even in college his freedom with money was a matter for reproach—“’(6). This quotation is referring that Tom comes from a wealthy family.. Daisy marries Tom because of his money. It shows that she wants to get her success easily. In other words, she takes it for granted. She marries a very rich man and automatically all Tom’s wealthy also become Daisy’s wealth. She makes a
