We can see through her thoughts the dangers of living your life in a fantasy constructed by your mind and thoughts. She goes through the everyday actions of her life in an auto-pilot sort of mode. She does not appreciate what she has in her life and how fortunate she really is. Mathilde Loisel character development throughout the short story is important to the theme that the author is attempting to express, which is one can never truly understand how fortunate they are until they lose what they have and only then can they be appreciative of what they have. Not only are Mim and Rhona trying to seek approval from their superior Jim, the indirect comment about Rhona’s weight makes Rhona’s assumed overweightness to be that she is worried she will not be taken seriously in the workplace by Jim. The play perceives looks being connected to performance in the workplace a major competition for validating approval from their boss. “Rhona: He should respect you. As the mother of two daughters I always want for my daughters what I feel was lacking in my life. It makes sense to me that Nanny’s idea of success and freedom is being wealthy and idle. That was what was literally beaten into Nanny. I think in real life, as with Nanny, mothers can get so blinded by their own agenda and their attempt to fulfill their own dreams through their daughter that they don’t stop to ask what their child wants. While I understand that this may not be the ideal way to handle a situation, I believe that Nanny did the best she could considering her experiences.
The act of improving someone else's situation in some way, even it it just involves listening, takes the persons own anxieties down a notch or two in importance and therefore they concentrate on the difficulties of others. TERM LIMITS FOR CONGRESS I believe that term limits should be placed on our Congressmen and women because it would allow for a more efficient Congress. The current Congress is in shambles, a dismal failure and is in desperate need of new ideas, procedures, and influence. With term limits in place, Congress will be more responsible toward their constituents because they themselves will soon be constituents. They will have to live under and abide by the laws they created while in office. They’ll have less time in office to develop money ties to lobbyists and other special interest groups, thereby weakening the threat of lobbyists being able to influence legislation.
The Union is supposed to help the economy, not take away businesses that will help it. Efforts made by the Union to keep Hostess and get a better pay and benefits for the workers were too expensive and not very reasonable. I think they should have tried to work out a better plan instead of making it practically impossible for Hostess to agree. Because Hostess went out of business, it will affect not only the lives of more than 18,500 workers, but it will also hurt the economy of the United

There are several evidences that may represent narrator’s mental instability and they seem to be originated from John’s oppressive way to treat her. The narrator is afraid that John doesn't seem to understand her state fully enough. "Personally, I believe that congenial work, with excitement and change, would do me good." (1279) She knows doing her favorite work―writing―and traveling around beautiful places may be helpful to recover her nervous hypochondria, but she just tries not to make John irritated by doing nothing.
However I know in the long run it will not work because eventually I would like a wife and kids and having a roommate would be impossible to live with and would cause all kinds of trouble for me and my future family. However with a wife also includes extra income from her job so I still should be in good shape with two different sources of income coming. So my roommate should be able to work just fine for the short term and then in the long run when I have a wife I can rely on her income to help out with the
However, given the fact that she is a female may be somewhat of a constraint. Females, generally speaking, are more nurturing and don’t really share that ‘tough love’ practice that males do. This may be a reason why she would not want to penalize the obese and smokers. Pressey would love to see a positive change for these people and would like to motivate them to do so. On the other hand, some people feel that this topic should not even exist as it is too intrusive into an employee’s personal life.

The disappointments are working with the offenders to get them back on the right track and they fail to comply with the rules or repeat the offense. Some offenders get their life together and that makes Tawana happy. That lets her know that she has done her job to the best of her ability.
