The title of the documentary is “Oil Factor: Behind the War on Terror”, it was produced by Gerard Ungerman and Audray Brohy on July 15, 2005. Step 2 Explain the purpose of the documentary 2. What is the purpose of the documentary? The purpose of the documentary is to breakdown the beginning of certain events after the 9/11 terrorist attacks through the views of oil and regions that are major oil plants. 3. What is the main message the director wants to get across to the audience? The main message the director wants to get across is a new point of view about the war and current U.S foreign policy. Before I watched the documentary I knew little about the truth behind the war going on. 5. What did you expect to see?
