Because of Odysseus journey through many difficult challenges that change him and build him into a better person because he gets experienced, courageous, and stronger in many ways.
Dressed as a weak, old beggar man, he skillfully strings his bow and shoots the arrow through twelve ax handles in order to win his wife back, reveal his true identity and re claim his kingdom. Third, he and his men waited for the Cyclops to fall asleep. Fourth, they stabbed him in the eye with a gigantic sharp stick.
Sodapop is described as having “movie star looks.” He is cheery and always making jokes. He’s also the most caring one in the family. Towards the end of the novel we learn that when Ponyboy and Darry fight, Sodapop takes it very hard, and that he is affected by the tension his brothers cause. The Odyssey Odysseus is a hero who fought to save his shipmates. Odysseus, the son of maritees has been gone from his home for twenty years. During that time he had to fight many obstacles, such as the Cyclops, sirens, and lotus eaters. In homers epic poem “The Odyssey,” Odysseys proves that he is a hero because he shows bravery at every turn, he uses leadership when its needed, and is strong and does anything to save himself and the shipmates. Odysseys is a courageous hero and shows bravery at every turn he can do to protect his shipmates In “The Odyssey.” In the quote “he alone hungered for home and wife,”(homer 963) homer uses the word hungered to describe the way Odysseus is yearning for the site to see his wife and home again.

His charismatic personality and tactical mind also helped him to become an outstanding political leader. Furthermore, he left behind a legacy that influenced the course of history and helped to shape the world today. He was also a more heroic leader than either Hannibal of Julius Caesar, due to their vicious and uninspired tactics.
