Our general population in America has become so obese and overweight that it is starting to affect our kids and our kid’s wellbeing. The lack of proper nutrition and the indulge of processed and sugary food pose a huge health risk type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure are all results of improper nutrition. I will breakdown and explain the ramification of this epic dilemma in our nation and give insight on how to change, and become a healthier person and a better role model for our youth. Obesity in America has been a problem for many years, but now it’s to the point where we see our kids on a daily basis eat mounts of unhealthy or processed foods. With no one telling them the horrible effects it can have and the health problems that arise from it because we as parents are to doing indeed the same thing and the kids are just following in our footsteps. As adults many of us know as we age it very easy to slip and forget the importance of a healthy diet and are usually forced by doctors to lose weight and put on medication for heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and the list goes on. All of these can occur from an improper diet, but now we as people as a nation and as a community are letting our kids face these same factors and same health risk. Sending our kids into a whirl pool of emotions, teasing, stress, mental illness, depression, lack of self-confidence, and a shortened life. It’s time to step up and lead by example not only for us as adults to be healthier, but to show our kids that a healthy diet can and will have an overall positive effect not just physically but mentally also. Incorporating a healthier life style give your body the right vitamins, minerals and nutrients to keep the body and mind strong and healthy.
