It is a given that strategy and the process go hand in hand. Whereas strategy is the vision the process is taking the strategy and putting it into motion. If Microsoft, Yahoo and Facebook had failed to formulate a strong approach strategy, their processes would have been flawed from the beginning. The major impact this would have on all of the companies would have been a loss of confidence from their employees and business partners. Fortunately the leadership of each company was wise enough to know both strategy and process are interlinked. Each company’s leadership was able to successfully communicate their vision and the processes to their employees. This is why Microsoft, Yahoo and Facebook are the leaders in today’s market. The leadership of each company had a strategic vision and put the processes in-place to achieve their goal. The companies were able to provide customers a superior product with service to match. The company’s leadership was able to provide positive impact in each area to make their organization successful. Each of the companies has remained there because they continue to be innovative and spread this attitude throughout their organizations.
