Describe and evaluate two or more theories of the formation of romantic relationships (9 marks + 16 marks) January 2011 One theory that outlines the formation of relationships is the reward/ need satisfaction theory that was developed by Byrne and Clore (1970). The theory suggests that we form a relationship because the presence of a particular individual is associated with reinforcement. This is because rewarding stimuli creates positive feelings and these stimuli may be people. These people therefore make us happy, so, due to operant conditioning, we seek to adopt behaviours that lead to a desirable outcome and avoid those that lead to an undesirable outcome. Therefore, the presence of an individual produces positive reinforcement as they have a more attractive appeal.
The principle of utility continually states that morally right actions produce happiness for all the affected people whose concerns are involved in the picture. If the happiness of the affected individuals by an action is not achieved, then the deed is considered as morally incorrect. The correctness or illness of an action can be calculated but, it relies on the amount of pleasure or pain resultant from that
He defines happiness in terms of this theory as an actuality; the virtues which allow happiness are dynamic-but-stable dispositions which are developed through habituation; and this pleasure in turn is another actuality that compliments the actuality of happy living. Augustine’s primary moral

Some sang about stories that they related to, and some sang about their culture and where they came from. It was very entertaining overall. The Humanistic perspective of psychology was very interesting to me, as I can relate to it, and it makes some very optimistic assumptions as well. According to the book Perceptual Psychology, Humanism can be described in some very simple ways. Humanistic psychology begins with the basic assumptions that objects of a person's experience is central and that people possess free will.
I then proceeded to order our salads, hers with no cheese the way she likes it and our entrees. We both got the duck entrée being that was the only thing on the menu that I knew what it was. I then directed the wine connoisseur to approach the table and I ordered us both a glass of Barbaresco, Gaja 2001. Which I was told is very good. The dinner was magical as we ate some of the best food we had ever tasted and watched the most beautiful sunset we had ever witnessed.

Although I don’t eat out much TGI Friday’s will be my first pick of dining, because of the overall experience, menu choices and the excellent service. The great thing about TGI Fridays is, it don’t have to be Friday to get great food. The environment made me feel relaxed like I was at home, loud sometimes but gave me a great feeling knowing that it just didn’t only have great food but a great bar. The overall Restaurant was beautiful, very appealing landscaping on the outside, I found the restaurant very well maintained and clean. The waitress was always friendly and polite.

Even though a sense of fulfillment is hanging in the balance, in some cases, the fulfillment of yearning contributes to one's happiness, regardless of the amount of pleasure or displeasure, built upon the truth, knowledge and battles, which can be a fact of the amount of pleasure felt when subjected, when achieving satisfying, one’s objective to focus on valuable entities in one’s life. Conceptual levels of desire must be progressive, in order to better comprehend the amalgam of feeling, intensity, richness, playfulness, desiring, passion, excitement, rage, suffering and life brought forth, which individuals digest when forming thoughts and values.
