At the age of sixteenth she marry a young man named Pedro Gonzalez, Patria was the last sister to join the revolution against the regimen. Belgica Adela “Dede” Mirabal (March.1.1925-present) is the second sister she was never actively involve in the movement. She always had a interest in helping her father in the family business.Dede is the only surviving sister. After her sisters’ assassination she raised her sisters children and works on keeping her sisters’ legacy alive at the Museo Hermanas Mirabal. My feelings for not speaking Spanish are that we speak more English because we are in America and that is the language spoken primarily. They have taken Spanish class and did ok but don’t use it much. My parents and I talk in Spanglish on a daily bases, especially if we don’t want to let my boys here what we are talking about. I don’t feel like not teaching them was a bad thing. I also feel like I don’t like it when I am approached by other ethnicities and spoken Spanish to.

The question I am going to be answering is: ‘Why were England and Spain enemies for so long during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries?’ To answer this question we need to look at all the evidence available. During the reign of Henry VIII, he decided to break away from the Catholic Church, turning his country into a protestant religion. However this did not impress the Pope and Spain as they thought that every country should be a Catholic country. Both countries were ruling most of the world, the Spanish empire in South America as an example. They were constantly disputing about who had to the Caribbean.
