With an area of 56,000 square miles, we have the largest sea beach, the largest mangrove forest, a coral island called Saint Martin, Hakaloki-Tangyar Haor, Nijhum Deep, Birishiri, BogaLake and so many historic places around this country. Birishiri - Netrokuna It has many shrines, including Shahjalal, Shahporan, Bayezid Bostami and Khan Jahan Ali among others. It is also home to the Royal Bengal Tiger and the spotted deer. Despite it’s a small country, but Bangladesh is host to Biswa-Iztema, the second largest Muslim congregation after the Hajj in Mecca. The Bangladesh National Museum in Dhaka is one of the largest museums in South Asia. St. Martin Island BogaLake – Bandarban Bangladesh is the only country in the world where a revolution was raised in which scores gave their lives for the cause of their Mother Tongue and hundreds of thousands embraced martyrdom in its war of independence. Most importantly, this small country is home to 50 different tribes with their own unique cultures and lifestyles. But how much is Bangladesh known globally??
