College students have busy, on-the-go lives, which are completely different from their high school lives. These students are now on their own, trying to figure out how to take care of themselves. They fight to fing the time for everything that needs to be done throughout the week, such as doing homework, participating in social events, and volunteering. As the students’ lives change, it is especially difficult to find time for personal care.
These reports can take around 4 hours, and because it takes a lot of time to get this important data, the CEO told the employee that he has to figure out a way to do it in less than an hour. The employee spent 2 month taking classes in advance excel, experimenting with MACRO’s and now the employee does these reports in 20 minutes. This behavior improved his employee performance. The Working Class Another benefit of having a job in high school is that teens are better prepared for college. Time management plays a major role on the success of any college student because they will have to divide their time into different sections, for example, to study, to do homework, to go out with friends, some to go to work, or even to catch up on some sleeping. Once in college, everyone is expected to be mature and to know how to make choices on their own; everyone must be responsible for their own acts and the decisions they make. “The Learning Spiral of College Education” Learning takes place every day, and not just in school, but in everything we do. It might be surprising how much it takes place in our daily lives, and how unnoticeable it is to us, because learning is a part of nature. When someone graduates high school they are ready for the next chapter in life, and that usually is college. Most students by that time have their mind made up of what type of study they would like to complete, and eventually make a career of it. If someone wanted to go into the health field there are certain classes that are called pre- requisites, which they would have to take even before starting into the health field.
These types of tests are important in measuring student’s intellect, in this case determining if they are ready for college. Teachers get paid to prepare for that next step after high school, but it’s also up to the students to take their education seriously. According to Hardy, (2014) A person who has a high school diploma only earns about $28,000 a year in 2008 where as a college graduate earns about $52,000 a year. A high school diploma gets you an entry level job but a college education gives you a career. You are considered a professional if you have that degree.
