National Products Human Resource is a key to the success of a company by keeping in connection with the organization's objectives and business strategies. Human Resource maintains a healthy work environment between company policies and individuals. Human resource management focuses on securing, maintaining, and utilizing an effective work force, which organizations cannot survive without. Susan the HR manager at the National Products, a manufacturing company that holds 500 employees, has been given the role to hire a general manger for the one of the company's product division. Charley Adams, Bill Stuart, and Ray Johnson are three internal mangers that are already working hard for the company and have applied for the position as a promotion. Susan is expected to either recommend one of the three internal candidates based on their obtained information on their performance records, interviews with the candidates, and discussion with the boss of each candidate. If Susan decides not to hire anyone of the three internal candidates, then Susan must begin to recruit external candidates. There are people out there in the workforce that believe they are obligated to do their best at their job simply because that is what is expected from all of us as humans. The key to unlocking peak performance from your work force is the concept of human motivation.
