They spend eight plus hours in prayer and worshiping, leaving Brother Java six hours per day to produce and market enough Mystic Monk Coffee. The net profit Mystic Monk Coffee is producing today is not producing enough to make a target market of one million dollars per year. If Mystic Monk coffee is going to be father Daniel Mary’s primary source of raising money for the new monastery, six hours per day by one man would not be enough. With the other monks doing their daily jobs in the convent it leaves Brother Java the only one to putting in six hours per day. This is not enough man hours for the company to produce and market enough coffee to meet the target.

Strategic Vision Father Daniel Mary, the prior of the Carmelite Order of monks in Clark, Wyoming, developed a vision for the monastery which pictured the monastery as expanding the small brotherhood, of thirteen monks living in a small home, into a much larger organization by acquiring a 500-acre monastery. He envisioned the future direction for the Carmelite Monks would eventually be comprised of thirty monks “who would join the brotherhood at ages nineteen to thirty and live out their lives I the monastery” (Gamble, Thompson, Peteraf, 2013, p. 237). Also, Father Daniel Mary’s vision of the monastery would host a Gothic church, a covenant for Carmelite nuns, a retreat center for lay visitors, and a hermitage on the property. Moreover, his vision was focused on generating the necessary funds to achieve the overall goal, primarily through the profits and donations earned by the Carmelite Monks’ Mystic Monk Coffee roasting business, which he intended to increase by increasing the quantity of production; however, he was willing to be flexible and open to other possible modes of generating funds. Ultimately, Father Daniel Mary published his vision statement on the Mystic Monk Coffee website, which stated, “We beg your prayers, your friendship and your support that this vision, our vision may come to be that Mount Carmel may be re-founded in Wyoming’s Rockies for the glory of God” (Gamble et al., 2013, p. 237).
Instructor: Dr. Louis Marino Subject: GBA490 – 901 Date: June 1, 2014 Mystic Monk Coffee Analysis Father Daniel Mary’s, vision for the Carmelite Monks of Wyoming is the establishment of a new monastery in a tranquil setting in the Rocky Mountains. Father Mary, the prior of the Carmelite Order of Monks in Clark, Wyoming, could grow the already existing Monk brotherhood of just 13 monks from a small makeshift vicarage into a 496-acre monastery that would accommodate up to 30 monks. Father Mary’s vision includes a Gothic church, and convent for Carmelite nuns, a retreat center for lay visitors, and a hermitage. For such a purchase to be successful, Mystic Monk Coffee, owned and operated by the Carmelites to support the monastery, will have to purchase a new larger 130-pound-per-hour coffee roaster for $35,000 to meet future purchasing demands of their coffee products. Father Mary’s mission for the Wyoming Carmelite’s is to continually grow the monastery by screening and accepting young men between the ages of 19 and 30 years old who are willing to commit their life to the Catholic Church.
This ranch was everything that Father Daniel Mary had ever hoped for and more. But there was a issue that had to be addressed, the Irma Lake Ranch would cost the monks $8.9 million dollars. Mystic Monk Coffee Company earns money, which

Are non-spirit based RTD’s going to be less susceptible to current and future alcohol related laws? c. How will the demographic of non-spirit based RTD consumers differ from various regular RTD consumers? After completing 1000 interviews (which were undertaken outside various liquor stores across the country) we concluded that it is not viable to release a non-spirit based RTD, and there is no market for one in New Zealand. After 47.7% of the surveyed population said they found the concept very unappealing. From this, along with all the other research displayed below, it is clear that there is not a profitable idea with any future potential.
