We dropped my oldest brother off to Manila University for his school. And since Tagaytay was only an hour away from the beach my dad decided to extend our trip by day. We left Manila and drove to Tagaytay at the afternoon. Tagaytay City lies on top of the Tagaytay Ridge. The ridge provides a spectacular view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano in Batangas. We stayed in a little hotel right on the beach and being eight years old I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. We check into the hotel and went to our room. Our room was on the beach level and had French doors that opened right on the sand. The view is incredible! We had our own shower outside and little blue and white umbrella to take to the beach. I was so excited and the ocean is so pretty. If you stand on the shore, the water stretches as far as you can see, to the horizon. It changes color with the light and the color of the sky, from green to blue
