My Worst Day at Work

Never in my life did I think I would ever have a horrible day at work. I have a job at a church downtown, babysitting a bunch of three to seven year olds for a few hours each Thursday. I love what I do and I earn the easiest money. I have the best job on the planet. It started out like every other Thursday. My co-worker and I showed up right on time and realized thatsomeone had made us switch rooms again. We went to the correct room only to see that someone entirely rearranged our classroom supplies. As we looked around further, we found a typed out schedule for the three hours that we had ahead of us. Confused, we decided to just wait it out and see what was to come. A woman from the bible study we were babysitting for decided to come in and take over. This was both offensive and irritating. I admit that maybe it was not the intention, but my co-worker and I took it to mean that she had not been happy with our methods and what we were doing, so she felt like she had to come in and put all her own methods into play in our classroom. Usually, I do not mind having to answer to someone. However, when a person spontaneously comes in and tries to completely take over, and disregards everything I have to say about my classroom, as well as makes me feel like I have been doing a horrible job, I do not like it at all. As the morning slowly dragged on, we became more and more annoyed with this control freak of a woman. I have no doubt that the kids I was watching were able to notice a difference in my attitude. Usually, we were cheerful and sweet, patient and gentle with the kids. That day, however, my co-worker and I were having to constantly defer to that horrible woman. If a child asked if we could have snack time, rather than making a spontaneous decision to have snack time earlier than usual, like I would do under the normal circumstances, in a different situation, I
