My Wedding Day I have gone through various captivating episodes in my life, but I do not think that there is any one day that beats my wedding day. A wedding is a celebration that brings pleasure and joy to everyone involved including the family members and friends. My wedding took place on 28 March in 2008. It was a delightful day and was characterized by the occasional peeking of the March sun. A cool breeze blew in the atmosphere from the west that gave a cooling effect to the wedding’s invitees as each took a seat on either side of the pink carpet which demonstrated a long walk to where the bride and groom were. Cool classical music played in the background, and I could not believe that I was finally getting married to the love of my life, Sargiz. What a memorable day it would turn out to be! Streamers and balloons fluttered in enclosed fencing with the fabulous red, pink, and golden colors radiating throughout the party. Rows of luxurious cars stood parked on the far side to the left of the venue, and the dazzling sunlight made them glitter. As I sat in the dressing room with the make-up artist who was putting the final touches on my face, I could not stop thinking about how everything looked lovely and perfect. When she was done, I stood up and hugged her. I said to her, “I owe it to you for making me look so pretty on my big day when I would like to look the best.” She smiled at me lovingly and gave me my bouquet of flowers. I headed towards where the groom and the entire audience were waiting. I clutched tightly to my dad’s hand as we slowly walked down the path leading to where I would sit. The background music started to fade slowly as heads were abruptly turned towards the walk’s end where I was making my entrance along with my dad.
