Alicia Lantier Truth or Lying essay #1 This summer I went on a 7 day trip to Ireland. I went with my mom, my brother and two of my friends. We were contemplating whether or not to take the trip because it was so expensive, but after over a year we finally decided to travel across the world to Dublin, Ireland. After our 7 and a half hour flight, we finally arrived. To my surprise, the landing port was beautiful; there were green trees, grass and flowers everywhere. Dublin airports are much different than new York in the way the run also. There is not as much confusion and much less hustle to get from place to place, plus all of the people are far nicer then in America. My mother had made plans for us to stay at the Aberdeen Lodge in Dublin, so as soon as we got in the taxi, we were on our way. The car ride was over 2 hours long, but when we pulled up to the Lodge, all of the waiting was worth it. Vines covered almost the whole building, along with finely cut bushes and flowers everywhere I looked. This place is unbelievable, I thought to myself. We walked inside only to be more shocked by the beauty of this country and the concierge lead us up to our room. Three stories up and six rooms down on the left side, our room awaited us. We struggled with opening the door, but as soon as we did our breathes were taken. There was a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, two bedrooms and as it seemed way too many closets for just four people. There was a chandelier over the dining room table as well as over each bed in the bedrooms. Everything about that entire country was beautiful. After a day out on streets we all came home exhausted and more than ready for bed. We went to our bedrooms, snuggled up and fell right to sleep.
