Business are always look for advertising and marketing strategies that cost the least but makes the biggest impact on their audience. Using social media is a low cost way of advertising to engage customers effectively. When businesses engage in social media by posting interesting new feeds, audience polls, blog post that are of interests to their target audience, and product information. The businesses are able to have access to storehouse information in which they can base their branding and marketing strategies. Business believed social media can successfully build their brands outlook through the socially persuaded individuals. Businesses are embracing the trend of not using the traditional ways of advertising their product; instead they are finding ways to make a difference for generations to come. Even though social media is a great way to advertise and market one’s product there are advantages and disadvantages to using it.
