Writing allowed Anne to maintain her sanity and spirit while in hiding. It also gives people the opportunity to re-live her story today. Anne Frank “ hoped to confide everything” (to her diary) and hoped it would be “a great source of comfort and support”. Not only was Anne’s diary extraordinary because of the remarkable events she described, but she was also an excellent storyteller. She would let her imagination run wild and this kept her spirit alive.
Small World ensures safety, love, and quality care in every aspect of childcare and security/privacy is nothing short of just that! I would also like to comment on a recent observation I made with “Kayleigh” an ABC Teacher with an ECE masters degree at Small World. Kayleigh has a very bubbly, outgoing, and motivated personality. She works hard to ensure love is given to each individual child. She always greets the parents with the children in the morning using puppets, or any form of communication that is available at the particular time.
Despite all the hard work they were very happy and working together on their land made them very close to each other. Maria remembers fondly of her mother, of her cooking and the smell of her mother’s tortilla’s and the dresses she made for her from spare pieces of cloth. “They always had flowers on them, pink and yellow”. (190) This was the way her mother showed her love for her. Not able to buy anything Maria’s mother did the best she could be provide for her and her brother Alberto.
This was a very pleasant and unforgettable experience for me and my fellow classmates. Monday through Thursday we were at our respectable classes and on Fridays we came back to our class and discussed how our week went. I learned that I love making children happy and it was right for me. I learned how to plan assignments that were fun and educational; this was because I worked with special needs children and the physical education class. I believe this would help me because it helped me open up and not be afraid to make sure the rules were followed, class ran smoothly, and everyone was safe.
All in all it appeared that she thrived on the compliments and wishes she received for her efforts. She covertly prided herself in being able to continue the traditions of the Iranians culture and her neighbors. She was really is proud of her achievements. This is signified by the time and effort that she spent shopping, preparing, and sharing her food. The mother gave up her time and energy to uphold the culture she loved.
Mrs. Trane was an active member of her church. She was known and loved by everyone for all of her kind services, like volunteering at the food pantry, starting a collection for the Salvation Army, and donating her time to the local Meals on Wheels organization. International travel was only one of her many hobbies. She greatly enjoyed knitting, and started a knitting club; she attended water aerobic classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her seven children, their spouses and her eighteen grandchildren. Family was her biggest joy in life.
She is beloved among the critical care community. She is a motivational and inspirational nurse educator. If you have not listened to her lectures, you owe it to yourself to do so. I listened to her education DVDs she is very well organized, it was one of the most entertaining things I ever heard. You can listen to it repeatedly and get something new each time along with a good laugh.
Jane Addams accounts, “It was during this winter that I became permanently impressed with the kindness of the poor to each other; the woman who lives upstairs willingly shares her breakfast with the family below because she knows which will make life in America more possible.”(123) The people that worked at Hull House were known as “residence” and were available to aid people at all hours of the night. These workers were normally women because at this time women started being embraced as more than just birth givers. They were beginning to be acknowledged as being good with children and education and capable of holding jobs in these
He likes her from the beginning, she is a story teller and he loves it. She does help him get to America, right after he escapes from Sierra Leone. She has a big part
Jeannie, the inspiration for it all, seemed like a woman of true love for what she did and how much she loved kids. Krosoczka furthermore gave back to the people that gave to him with the book and also created this amazing day for the lunch ladies to feel even more appreciated. After reading the article it made me look at what other people who aren’t as appreciated. For example, police officers, crossing guards, and post officers, it makes me think that these people do things that don’t receive a lot of recognition. However, they’re not in need of a day, but they should deserve some type of recognition for what they do for the community.
