After using so much energy in public and being alert all the time, I have to be able to recharge and relax. Relaxation is most valuable when I switch myself over to my private self. I have to be able to think to and by myself. The best way for me to relax is to take a nap during the day so I won’t have any worries later on. It is best to study one topic at a time and to review the notes and materials frequently throughout the week. Having a good place to study is crucial to the learning process. Schopenhauer uses the analogy of a spring being constantly held under a heavy weight comparing the mind constantly being held back by reading books.
I have previously tried using CD’s to try and help me with confidence, but after seeing this course was available I decided to take the matter into my own hands. EXERCISE 2 I have tried to do the relaxing exercises for this part of the course, but have found it difficult to find time to relax. I find myself easily distracted and I think this is one of the main reasons I have found it difficult to get myself relaxed. I hope when I start the course it will help with my techniques for relaxing and I will find it easier to do these relaxing
