Hero. Who is my hero? Usually when the word is mentioned your mind instantly jumps to Batman, Superman, Spiderman, any of those comic book characters with superpowers or maybe a celebrity with a lot of fame and fortune. Well my hero is nowhere near that. My hero is way better, braver, stronger than that. My hero is my mom. My mom is as brave as a lion. She’s strong, wise, confident and silly. She is a fighter. Through out all the obstacles life has thrown at her she has proved herself to be a strong independent women and a great mother. I can’t think of a specific memorable thing my mom has done, I mean she does a lot for me. She’s my mom. She has always been there for me. She has sacrificed so much for my little brothers and I. For us to have a good life and have everything she never did when she was our age. She’s worked so much to provide for us. It’s like she never stops. She works, she cleans, she cooks and she takes care of my brothers and me. She’s always putting up with our crap. I admit we can be a handful. Of course my dad helps out and takes care of all of us, but he’s usually always working. Something I am very grateful for, but he will never understand me the way my mom does. Sometimes I wonder how she does it. I feel guilty at times. Watching her work so hard with me making it hard for her at times. I want to help her, but how can I when I can barely take care of myself. I just vow that someday I’m going to pay her back for all the great she’s done for me. Someday I’ll take care of her just like she took care of me. I’m going to make her proud of me and I’ll be the best I can be. She gives me so much advice, maybe sometimes she thinks I don’t listen to her or take her advice but I do. She’s my little old wise man on top of a mountain. I realized how much my mom does for my brothers and I around the age of 10 or 11. I feel like that’s around the
