People come from all over the island to dive here, since the water is extremely clear allowing you to see all the different sea life. When the tide is low, small tide pools are created. My children can spend numerous hours playing in the pools. They’re either looking at all the colorful fish that are trapped or just sitting in the pools, cooling off from the hot Okinawa sun. Sometimes they get overly excited going from one pool to another and slip on the coral reef, which can put a damper on all the fun.
But I mean, what do you expect; fresh food right off the coast of Florida, it was absolutely astounding! Now I see why it was rated 4.5 stars! Another place I ate at was Peg Leg Pete’s. When I first walked in, I already knew it was going to be a good meal, just the smell and the comfort feeling of it assured me of it; and sure enough it was! After I finished my plate, I thought to myself, “I am most definitely eating here again!” Although the seafood was marvelous, it would not have been as good as it was, without the beaches.

Also the ocean is so beautiful and unforgettable. The sounds of the waves coming from the massive deep blue ocean and washing up on the shore of the white sand beach, or the sound of them crashing up against the sharp jagged rocks of the coast line are soothing. Something about the rhythmic timing of each wave causes a relaxing sensation and can almost put you into a deep sleep. The sleep would be hard to come out, not because it’s impossible but only because you wouldn’t want to. Although some individuals may find them extremely annoying I enjoy the sound of the sea gulls on the beach.
They return to Masson’s bungalow, drink wine, and eat a big lunch. Meursault starts to feel slightly drunk. He talks about possibly spending the month of August on the beach with Masson and Raymond. Everyone is enjoying themselves and they realize they have all lost track of time when Marie notices that it is only 11:30 in the morning. Meursault, Raymond, and Masson walk back down to the beach.
I had never seen the ocean before, and my stomach was filled with butterflies. The sun was out, and bouncing off the water in the harbor. The boardwalk stretched past stores, restaurants, and various types of boats. The smell was crisp but salty. I remember looking down into the water and seeing a crab nestled on a rock.
It was my first time so I was nervous. I didn’t think you would find much in the river cause it a river. Usually you see people on TV scuba diving in an ocean, like on the beaches in Hawaii or anywhere in general. The instructor who was showing us how to scuba told us, since thousands of people from all over come to the river a lot of valuable items are dropped by tubers every day. We put our scuba gear on, and begin the hunt to the river’s floor, to pick up left behind treasures.
Tired, hungry, we walked towards our car rental and it was like we followed the rabbit in his hole from Alice in Wonderland and suddenly the talking was gone, no more crowds; the sky became blue, the air was relaxing and as we drove to our home for the month, the ocean water was picture perfect blue. For one month, my adventures took me along the beaches of Maui, the drive to Hana, and of course, the many spenders of food. Getting up in the morning has been easy but for some reason, the beach was calling me. My window was open and I can smell the ocean waters. Usually, the smell of salt waters from Santa Monica beach has never been a good thing.
“I go for the full 110 percent. I’m in, and I’m not afraid to get into the big shore breaks to get looks where a lot of photographers don’t want to put themselves.”Clark also attributes his success to his 30-plus years of experience surfing the shore breaks. “It’s like my second home. It’s my comfort zone where most people are not as interested,” he says. “Clark t’s uses all his experiences of surfing the shore break to get that right angle, the right look for every
