They can react to the way she is feeling and they can get an answer to a question right there. They get to form a closer bond with her and get a lot of 1 on 1 time with her. Her online class never understands when she is sick or she takes a vacation day from school. They email her questions about the syllabus and some of the assignments in the class room and it take time for her to email them back and sometimes they just don’t understand that the online teacher is not feeling well or out of office for today. In the classroom students can’t choose what they want to do.
I always longed for my lunch period, that’s when I saw Caroline, Jodie, Max and Joel. I had been accepted in as Caroline’s freshman so I got to know that group quickly. Those pennies were quite enough to get me to change my view on taking Scout to school. As Scout and I made our way to school, some troubling thoughts crossed my mind over and over again. Scout at school might not work out so well for me. If she followed me around all day like a puppy bringing up things that happened at home everyone would make fun of me. As we approached the school yard I knew I had to make it clear to her how school worked.
Feeling that she needed to socialise, Cady’s parents enrolled her to North Shore High school. On her first day of North Shore High school, Cady was often left out and she was unfamiliarised with the school’s surroundings and people. On the second day, Cady had become friends with two social outcasts, Janis Ian and Damian. Janis and Damian had misled Cady into thinking that they were taking to G14 for her Health Education class but instead, they brought her to the back of the school where they skipped class. This is where Janis had stated that they were friends and Cady stayed with them.
Both Baby and Anne are very smart, but Baby isn’t recognized for it. Instead she is put into a practical learning class. “I didn’t bother explaining that I’d been on the honor roll at my last school. That I had to go to a program for kids who had learning disabilities made me sad beyond words.” (Page 202, O’Neil) Baby deserved more, considering she was on the honor roll. But because she had to go to a detention centre, the social worker basically forced her into going to this class.
Part 1 At one point in high school my grades were below par which didn’t really make my parents happy. They decided to enroll me into a tuition center where may other kids take tuitions during the school holiday. One week in, I didn’t have a single friend, probably because I’ve always been a really shy person. I sat outside reading before my morning class. I looked up and noticed this girl was moving towards me, she engaged into conversation with me and then told me she thought I was real good looking and that definitely was an ego booster, she then suddenly left and I never saw her again because that was my last summer school class.
It took determination, a lot of studying and two years, but I finally managed to pass the Algebra II Trigonometry Regents. Some New York schools changed the curriculum, and instead of teaching Geometry before Algebra II Trigonometry, they reversed it to accommodate the more difficult Regents exams. The problem with that was that students weren’t learning the correct math subtopics that were going to be on the test. The first Algebra II Trigonometry Regents that I took in June 2010 was after completing the entire full year course. When I first opened the test, I realized that some of the topics included were never taught.
When dinner was ready I tried to sit and talk to her but she stood up with her plate and gone she went to her room. I could not believe this atrocity was happening to me. Eventually, we had to go together to family reunions but this didn’t stop her from not talking to me. Sometimes my mother would not wait for me to come out of school and she would leave me home alone to go eat lunch with her sisters. This looked like revenge to me against what I had said before when I was sixteen.
And while I had my toys and my friends around I still had to be responsible about doing my homework and wake up every morning and wear my clothes to go to school. I learned to do everything by myself and. Finally after one year my dad decided that we can go to see my mom. At the first time, I did not feel anything when I saw her because I could not remember her as a mom. This really hurt me as
One time in the morning, twice around lunch, and once right before school. She showed me how to fill out there sheets and told me how the treat the two students. 11/20/13 Today I learned how to do vision and hearing screenings. I was shocked to see a lot of students get 20/30 vision. Every time the student would be done with the vision Mrs. Weaver would tell them that if they ever felt like they were having trouble seeing that they should go to the doctor because we don’t want future dangerous drivers.
