My Favorite Place

Hot sunny days, beautiful blue skies, cool rivers, a rope swing, and all of your friends. Thompson Falls Montana is my favorite place to be. Thompson is a small town not many people know about, located 119 miles NW of Missoula, MT. The people are nice and the foods in the restaurants are excellent. This little town happens to not only be my favorite place but the summers are incredible, the river is relaxing, the sky bi and beautiful with the never ending sunsets, but the best part is that Thompson Falls is my home town. Thompson is my favorite place because I grew up there, and spent all of my time there. I also made some of the best friends I will ever have in Thompson. Most have changed my life and become most like family. Much of my family lives there, so I get to see them all the time. But I have to say that the cliffs by the Clark Fork River have got to be my getaway. The rush of adrenaline as you fall towards the water, and come up to the wonderful sight of a beautiful clear blue sky. The sky and the view it provides is amazing in both winter and summer. The animals are so friendly the hair on the chin tickles the palm of my hand. This little valley is so serene without all the city noises. The sunsets are painted orange, yellow, pink, and red,- I wish I could stare at for forever. All the different colors plastered behind a snow covered mountain are an exotic sight. Walking mountain trails as the sun melts away all winters beautiful work is an amazing journey. The summers are always worth the long wait of winter. During the summer, horse back riding through the woods and down by the river is a relaxing adventure. In the middle of the summer, camping by the river waiting for the fair grounds to open, swimming in the perfectly tempetured water was where I would be all weekend all weekend.
