Sarah contacted a close friend of hers to name Diana blue who is a pediatrician and is and atheist to receive some advice on her situation. Diana told Sarah that she works around special need kids every day and see how hard it is on the parents and it would be her best interest to spare her the stress and abort the child. Diana stated that there should be decrease in suffering in this world and an increase of happiness upon us humans. Sarah should consider her child right to live, gods will, and a choice that she can live with for the rest of her life. Ethical dilemma: Sarah has been trying to conceive her first child for quite some time and her wish has finally been granted.
When Barbara found out she was pregnant another time, she felt an abortion would be the best decision because she had little money to support her and her son already, and her mom said that she would not help her daughter with to have another baby. Barbara went through with the abortion, and even though she was set on the idea we could see that she was going through both physical and emotional pain both during and after the procedure. Becoming a CNA was easy for Daphne, but the career had its disadvantages. When after one year as a CNA, in a nursing home, she was accused of an act she did not commit. With an abuse offense behind her license, she was terminated and had to find another job. Always being written up for the negative things that take place on the job is another obstacle Daphne faced. Daphne had been written up and reported several times for having to leave the job to get to her kids for whatever reasons.
Comparison Katniss is a strong, unselfish, and independent young woman who is a heroine in the story. I see a lot of similarities between us two because I myself have had to grow up faster than planned. From a very young age, I was always stuck home to care for my brother while my mom went to work to support us. In the book, Katniss is a young lady who takes care of her mom, her sister and their family cat because her dad died in an underground mine explosion. I find her strong because she takes responsibility for hunting the food for supper and making sure her family has all their needs.
My name is Elliot Roosevelt, the third born son of Anna Eleanor Roosevelt and I’d like to thank everyone for coming today to show their respect for my mother. Today, November 7th, 1962 we are here to bid farewell to a strong, kindhearted, compassionate woman, wife, and mother. She has passed away from bone marrow cancer but that never stopped her heart from touching so many lives. Eleanor was a woman with great sensitivity to the civil rights of all creeds, races, and nations. Her constant work to improve their lives has made her one of the most loved, and one of the most revered women of her generation.
I’m still expected to do the cooking and cleaning, wearing anything other than a dress to church would be unacceptable. Religion is a major value in my life. Sunday is my family’s day of rest and remembrance, we all gather around the table as a family. I make church attendance a must for my children, and my daughter is always in a dress during attendance. Respect and obedience is also a major value in my family.
I grew up in a large, single-parent family, my mother, Malli Robinson raised me and my siblings without and help.
