My Favorite Memory I have many fond memories about my life but the one memory that is truly worth writing about is how my family came to be complete. For as long as I could remember I have loved children and someday wanted one of my own. The day my wife told me she was pregnant I knew our lives would change forever, but I never knew how much. The birth of my son has since made me and my wife grow stronger as a couple and love more as a family. Even though we have had our share of problems, it has never made us weaker. On the contrary our bond has never been stronger. I remember growing up as a child I loved playing with little babies and seeing them laugh and giggle. There was no face or noise I wouldn't make to get a child to laugh. The smile of a child warmed my heart like an ice cream cone in the middle of July. I could not wait to see my first son's smile for the first time, the thought of it alone made my heart hat melt. The day I found out we would have a child of our own, was a day I will never forget. It started off like any other day, I awoke and went about my day like every other, little did I know what news awaited me. I spent the day with friends, hanging out and watching TV most of the day until I decided I was hungry and took my wife who was my girlfriend at the time out to lunch. We arrived at our local Mexican restaurant and took our seats in our usual spot, I sensed that she was a bit uneasy and had something to tell me. By the look on her face it was no easy situation. After we placed our orders she told me she had something to tell me, not knowing how I would take it she was at a lost for words. Finally it came out, "I'm pregnant." I was speechless, I felt as if the whole world had stopped for that very moment. So many thoughts raced through my mind, how was I going to support a family on a job paying minimum wage? how will our parents
