Escape the noisy streets, the bright lights and the busy life in the cities by taking a trip to Unna, Germany, a town like no others. Surrounded by some of Germany’s largest and most popular cities, the people as well as tourists in Unna find it very convenient to get around. The neighbors of Unna include Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Koln and Hamm, where people come to visit the world-class cathedral of Koln, the colossal megamalls that have no end, huge swimming pools, old German houses, restaurants and bars that provide customers with Germany’s finest ice cream, beer and sausages. Travelling by car from Unna, it only takes 30 minutes to reach these cities. The main appeal of Unna, however, comes from within. Without a doubt, Unna is a town of tranquility. It is the ultimate destination of those who wish to take a break from the highlife. Unna is where you can stroll across the park but never reach the end of it because it is so large; where you can say hello and get to know everyone who walks by because they are all very friendly; where you can simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea without any rush or disturbance and where you can really see clear, blue skies and lush, green forests, where you can truly appreciate the beauty of nature. Unlike the historic capital Berlin, exciting Dortmund, industrial Munich, enchanting Black Forest, or any other German city, Unna’s real charm comes from its tranquility, calmness and its people, who are always friendly and warm-hearted.
