My Experience of Cooking Italian Pasta

One day, my friend invited me to her café which served coffee, dessert, and meals. My friend recommended me to order Italian pasta. I remember that day is my first time eating clam pesto pasta. I was surprised at the Italian pasta which was delicious than I thought. At that time, I developed an interest in cooking Italian pasta. Her chef gave me the clam pesto pasta recipe, but I still did not know how to make it. Until I watched the Jamie Oliver’s cooking show on TV, which explained how to make clam pesto pasta very cleanly, then I had got more confidence to cook it, and execute my goal to cook the tastiest and freshest Italian pasta for my family. Before I could begin, I had to buy all ingredients that I needed on the recipe. I make the food list before I went to the supermarket and traditional market to do my food shopping. First, I bought a bottle of olive oil, a bag of bacon, a bag of pasta, a piece of parmesan cheese and a bag of pine nut from the supermarket. Then I went to the traditional market to buy some shrimps, clams, garlic, basil, an onion and a broccoli. I made sure all the ingredients were prepared before I came home. On my way home, I imagined everyone at my family praising my Italian pasta. Now I will proudly tell how to achieve such a delicacy. A pesto sauce must be prepared before cooking Italian pesto. First, make the ingredients be mixed in the blender. The ingredients include fresh basil leaves, olive oil, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, some salt and black pepper. Before grinding the ingredients, the basil must be dried. You can use salad spin to drain it. If you don’t have salad spin, you can use a towel to dry the basil after washing.
