Drill team gave me the knowledge that grades in high school do play an important role in life and I knew that if I put enough heart into it I would succeed. My coaches made an impact on me because they differentiated me from other and made me realize that I made a huge difference to the team. They gave me the opportunity to showcase what I had, which made me sense I was notable and helped to raise my confidence. I have never been able to adjust to situations as well as others but the confidence I gained from drill team experiences helped to change that. My confidence plays a big role in the person I am today.
Having this belief during this point of the game really helps out a lot. Having this core belief helps a ton in future life. For example, it helps you get good grades so that you can get into a good college. As you go through school it just gets harder and harder and sometimes you just aren't smart enough to keep getting good grades but you can always try your hardest no matter what. Nobody can take away your level of effort.
Voting for me would allow them to have a better secretary for the rest of the year and possibly a better representative next year. By voting for me to go to CASL, my classmates would benefit because we would have a better & experienced leader in their class. I have shown major commitment and dedication to both leadership and my class. Every single day (even Mondays), I am early and ready to learn how to become a better leader. I have also been at almost every single workday the freshman class has had for all required events.
Also the pay is very good so its the perfect career choice for myself. I cant wait to help injured patients and athletes! I love sports and training, also being able to help someone all in one is like having my dream
LIFE EXPERIENCES As I have experienced many things in my life, I am now more prepared to go through my degree program because of my personal desire to be successful. I have the full support of my immediate family that matters most to me. Although I am just beginning on my journey to a degree with Ashford University, the staff has been very helpful and supportive in helping find the right program and get started on the right track. My previous school experience in the traditional setting, as well as, online has prepared me to continue my higher learning education
Dear: National Junior Honor Society Committee I currently represent the “Character” Trait of NJHS by being honest to others and very workable with my fellow peers. Many people rely on me as a very good person to come to in a great time of need. I deeply care for my family and other people. I also listen to others ideas to help improve their idea or to help make it a reality. I will use all of these characteristics to help this organization reach out to people in need.
I decided to take the route of the Los Angeles Community College District because I felt in the long run it would be far more beneficial in my situation. A very close acquaintance of mine attends the University of California Santa Barbara and I feel very honored to have her presence in my life. She has been huge benefit on helping me understand how the college system operates. Most of my close personal friends have been allies in helping each other achieve our ultimate career goal. Most, if not all are in route to achieving a higher
lease provide detailed information about yourself in one, cohesive, formal essay. You must address how you demonstrate the ideals of SCHOLARSHIP, LEADERSHIP, SERVICE, and CHARACTER to be selected into NHS. * I feel that I demonstrate the ideals of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character in a very unique way. To start off, I have maintained a 3.7 cumulative grade point average throughout my high school career while being highly active in a year round travel team and holding a job. Since freshman year, I have been enrolled in honors and A.P.
To be inducted into the National Honors Society, to me, would be my greatest accomplishment in Lenape High School. To know that my intense hard work paid off in the end would institute the self-confidence in myself in which I know that I can take the world by storm. Growing up in the shadows of two brilliant older siblings, shining both in academics as well as athleticism I’ve always had to fight to make my name prominent in my family. Essentially, I wished to shine the light on myself for a change. Now the question lies before me: “why should you be inducted into the National Honors Society?” The National Honors Society is an organization that only exceptional students and members of the community are inducted.
A LEADER FROM WITHIN Throughout my lifetime, I have learned that I am a natural-born leader. I willingly accept new challenges, conquer my goals, and strive to create a better community for myself, and those around me. From the time I began middle school, my leadership abilities became apparent. I enrolled in the Leadership class at the middle school where I thrived for two years. During my second year in the middle school leadership class, I enthusiastically served as the ASB president.
