As i walked through the doors of Eagle Pass High, I felt as if i was entering into a new, profound, and illumanting stage. My years at E.P. high school has been a wonderful learning experience for me. I have learned so much about the world around me, and more importanly I learned about myself. If you were to lose everything today the only thing people would be able to judge you on is your character. People who know me most intimatley would describe me as an honest, trust worthy, and dependable person. My experience in many sports in high school, have built on my character a great deal. I learn that having good sportsmanship and good conduct towards others can lead to better things than selffishness. Maintaining good character is important to me because I believe it is the basis of your personality. Character affects almost everything in your life. Being in sports and being a good leader requires great responsibility, but it is very rewarding to me. Helping out others gives me selffulfullment and the edge to do more for my community. I feel because of the good qualities I obtain, i would make a great asset into this prestigious society. It would give me a great privilage and honor to become a member of the NHS. Becoming a member will help me reach even further goals in life. With the support and love from the people I care about I believe that I can go very far in my life.
