Simple standards that would be expected by me on the ways in which I organise my time and management of all tasks would be my position as to who I report to, what my daily today tasks are and what it reports are expected from me throughout the day. This means that I too provide the necessary tools for my employees to succeed, however, I do follow through to ensure that no employee is falling behind in any of their tasks and responsibilities. I choose to focus on the positives and strengths instead of the negatives and the weaknesses. Many managers in my current firm do not take the proper time to shape their employees to be successful. I believe that the extra time that is spent training each employee, will yield higher and more positive results in the long run. By spending extra time with each employee also shows care and respect for each person.
Policies and procedures consists of all rules and legislations regarding my job role I will play within my working organisation which is set by my employer and must be followed. It will explain what I am allowed to do or not to do. In fact, it describes how my employer requires me to perform my working role. Without the term 'agreed ways of working' I would remain unaware and unfamiliar to my roles and responsibilities.
