My Dream Job! My adoration for children is something I could not live without. Therefore I had many experiences that would be an advantage to me in the teaching profession. In the past I have received the chance to be involved in summer school for kids. The program set me up with 10 different children who may have had difficulties at home or school or just needed a friend to talk to. We made different activities that were fun but at the same time it was teaching them something new. These experiences had a great impact on my life. The children were very inspirational to me. My dream job is to become a secondary math teacher. What I have to do to get to my dream job and what it takes to in your dream job. Last week I interviewed, Mr. Steve Kucharo, he is currently a teacher at All Saints School. He told me that if I really want to become a secondary math teacher I have to follow my heart and always be positive in what I do. Teaching is not easy but challenging and financially is not the best in the country. He told me just remember to always smile and teach students not a subject. What I understand from this is to always care for students no matter what. A typical day in the school for a teacher is 7 to 8 hours in a classroom teaching, 3 to 4 hours to plan a day and 3 to 4 hours grading papers, there is meetings, conferences that change every time. The most satisfying thing about this career is that you can build good relationships with students, parents, family, and even teachers. I think the least satisfying is to be around with teacher that are always complaining or that they are not happy to teach. You have to know your strengths in this position to succeed, plan, and go on for example, when you grade papers that is a reflection on your work and the way you teach. But before you can do this first you have to have your High School diploma,
