My Career Goal

My Career Goal If I had to say right now what my career goal is it would be to become a lawyer. I have always wanted to become a lawyer ever since I was five years old. My love for law first manifested when I would visit my grandfather at his law office. It often seemed that I was there ever day growing up, because most of the time I was. I have always been attracted to the legal system as far back as I can remember. I would say that to me the most attractive part about being a lawyer to me would be how no matter whose side you are on you get to hear many different sides to the story. Though I would enjoy all of that, the most attractive part about being a lawyer to me is to have to argue your point to a judge and or jury. This is my favorite part because I have always been good at arguing a point and not stopping until I see it all the way though till the end. I have always had an argumentative side to me. If someone were to ask me why I am so in love with law and the way it works in our communities, I would tell them that the reason for my love for law started with my grandfather. When I would go to his office I’d watch, and listen to everything that was going on. Sometimes he would even try to teach me things, but I was too little to understand what it was that he was trying to teach me. Though I didn’t understand I was still fascinated by what I saw and heard going on in the office. That is also part of the reason why I have always had a love for being a lawyer, because in a law office of any kind it is always fast paced. There never really is a moment were you can stand or sit still without something in front of you. So to me my kind of fast paced work environment would be a law office that handles big time offenders. This kind of place would be great for me because it is very fast paced and you have to put a lot more time into your work then a normal
