The Paralegal Profession Michelle Joyner Everest Online University Growing up I have always had an interest in law, on many occasions I have thought of being able to be the lawyer in the court room. Being able to help people has always been my dream; I would love to ultimately become a lawyer helping the less fortunate. By becoming a paralegal I will be able to help a lawyer to win cases, also I will be able to do some legal work myself; researching, drafting papers, interviewing clients, and some investigating. Becoming a paralegal will be very stressful at times, depending on the amount of cases and if you will be working with multiple lawyers. A paralegal will be responsible for many things; summarizing legal documents, performing and coordinating research, preparing reports, declarations, complaints, and correspondence, and checking all forms for accuracy.

Wolsey presided over many cases in person, with the centre of his legal activities lying in the Star Chamber. Although the career is popular known for being exciting and intriguing, in fact some professionals say that it is a very tough career and that many people don’t really see how important it is to keep the justice inside the society. Now a day’s people are giving more attention to this kind of career because they realized that it is a vital part of solving problems, and the numbers of investor in that area have been growing a lot. Statistics show that forensic pathologists have earned their respect in today’s society.
I find Mervin to be admirable because he always works hard, he never stops no matter what obstacles comes his way, and always kind. Getting a debate team ready isn't an easy thing to do. You have to make sure your members are capable to argue about any given topic. That's exactly what Melvin did; he had try outs for the debate team at his own house. He could of had the try outs at any other given location but he decided to have it at his own place.
Deputy Murray is a large man with a very intimidating stature. Deputy Murray was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and now works in Union county, which is an adjacent county to the Charlotte area. It has always been a fascination with himself, much like mine, to be an officer of the law. He doesn’t have a great back story for how he became a Deputy Sheriff other than he had a family friend, who was a Deputy Sheriff, sponsor him for his training and then he took him on board when he was completed. Deputy Murray started in the jail in Union county, which was a position he seemed very fond of.
This old, powerful and inquisitive 83 year old shows an ample amount of individualism during the play. Giles Corey is the kind of man that says what he wants whenever he wants. He has been in court many times which has given him great knowledge of the rules of law. The reason why Giles Corey is an extreme individualist is because he does what he thinks is right and usually tells the truth. Corey will stand up for whatever he believes is right especially when he does everything possible to try and protect his wife.

Atticus is one of the best lawyers in the town of Maycomb; he is an excellent role model for many people to look up to. Even though most of Maycomb has put him down by calling him cruel names, he still dug up courage to defend Tom Robinson and the fight to see if he raped Mayella. Jem asked Atticus what he thought was going to happen and whether or not he was going to win, Atticus then said no, that was because “Simply because we were licked a hundred years before we started is no reason for us not to try to win,”(78). This shows determination and to still fight for what you think is right even if you already know you are going to lose. Notwithstanding, he already knew he was fighting a war with no gun, and had "after losing the case, which he surely should have won, Maycomb still chose to put him down quoting, “he's turned out a nigger-lover we'll never be able to walk the streets of Maycomb again.
It’s amazing how long it took them to finally sign off on those acts because of how horrendous the working conditions were. This book also made me realize not to take life today for granted because it made me appreciative for what I have, the house I live in, and how close my family
