CONCLUSION As of today the project is going great and I am excited to see the finished product in my bedroom. I have to be careful not to let that excitement push me to rush and make any mistakes that could cost extra time and money. Next week I intend to put the frame together for a trial run to make sure all of the pieces fit. The job that will give me the most challenge is staining and finishing the bed as my experience in that is limited. Taking my time is key and will lead to a great looking and sturdy bed frame.
In the show, there are many obvious norms that occur throughout the series. In the middle of the series, DJ, the oldest daughter, finally gets her own room which leads to Stephanie and Michelle to room together. It was meant to represent the cage in which Brick had trapped himself in when he started drinking alcohol as a coping mechanism instead. The furniture and decor used in the bedroom greatly contributed to the mood of the play. All of the furniture and decor seemed to be tied together using a golden color scheme that created this image of luxury. Everything from the upholstery of the chairs to the doorknobs dripped with wealth and riches. The color scheme helped establish the play’s setting and give insight to the characters in the play.

In “You Can Never Have Too Many,” Jane Smiley thanks Barbie for the effect she had on her daughter’s lives as they were growing up to be young adults; by teaching them the feminine side of woman at an early stage, which ultimately allowed their minds to have a lot more options when it really came down to figuring out who they wanted to be at an adult stage. I spend as much time as I can in my room when I can because it is just so awesome. Aside from this fact there are many things that I do in my room or “site structure”. I sleep, have laundry, read, eat, do homework at my desk, get dressed, sit on my ottoman when I put my shoes on, drink water and other substances, exercise, get ready, and well live. My site structure reflects my activities because of where my furniture is based because my room was also initially architecturally designed for this purpose of where the furniture should be located.
