The principal called Nai’s foster mom to come to the school for a meeting. Nai recalls, “When my foster mom arrived at the principal’s office, she said, ‘My daughter hasn’t done anything wrong.’ She backed me up and supported me.” It was then that Nai realized that her foster mom would, “always be there for me and support

Embedded Assessment 1 I would like to introduce my mom, Cathy Patterson. She’s a molecular biologist, and went to Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. I enjoyed getting to interview her because it let me get to know my mom a bit more, and made me realize what I have to do to do well in high school. To start off with, I asked her if she liked high school, and asked her to explain why or why not. She said that she had enjoyed being at high school, because she loved learning, and she got to hang out with her friends a lot.
Recognizing that at the end, hard work pays off and you can appreciate that experience that was important to you. Entering into high school, the only thing that seemed important to me was Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC). I instantly fell deeply in love with the program and all the foundations that it instilled within me. The reason for being interested into getting into the program was from my mom. Also, I enjoy
I married and started my family young like my mom. Both of my parents were hard workers and that never missed a day unless they were really sick. I have developed that same work ethic. I saw my mom go back to school when I was little to earn her degree so I knew going to school at any age was an option. I want my kids to know that it’s good to have dreams and goals at any age and they can have the life they want and deserve

This quote encouraged me to get involved doing and enjoying volunteer work in my community. Throughout my high school years, I have been doing a lot of community service at my old middle school, Solomon schechter. When I'm there, I have to help the kids with their homework and play with them any games or sports that they would like. In addition, it helped me realize that I can't always be reliant on other people. If there's anything I want done, I need to be the person to do it.
I had lot of support making sure that I was not facing the difficulties or challenges alone. I had the chance of meeting the most wonderful young lady in my school, she have been the most supportive woman I could have ever meet in high school. She was there with me every single step of high school and getting all my school information organized the way they are supposed to be. With Ms. Francis help I learned a lot of skills that I never know I could have mastered in school at all. I am a person who love being in school that’s where my family lies, school have a lot of different people but the god ones are hard to fine.
