My Adventure in Greece

The sun beating on my face was making me dizzy and frustrated. The suffocation was too much. This was why I hated car rides. Currently, my aunt, uncle, sister and I were on our way to Greece. I was in Bulgaria for summer vacation and we were in the southern part of the country, which is almost three and a half hours away from Greece. My uncle decided we should go there since it was toward the end of summer vacation. So that is how I ended up in a car with no air conditioning and outside it was ninety degrees. I just could not wait till we got to the sea. In just an hour, I would be in the white, soft sand tanning and listening to the sounds of the sea. To take my mind off the car ride, I took a nap. When I woke up, I was finally in Kavalla, Greece. The town was beautiful. There were no clouds in the sky and the weather was perfect. Before going to the White Sea, we had a mini picnic in the mountains. It was gorgeous. It had a breathtaking view. After that, we went straight to the White Sea. The water was very salty, but it was so fun splashing around and tanning for a couple of hours. We were not planning to be all day at the sea, so we decided to pack up and move along. We went to downtown Kavalla. We got to go to a café and I got this exotic smoothie. My taste buds were exploding and I loved it. After that, we went to a boardwalk around a small pond. It was enjoyable. I got to see so much wildlife. My favorite animals were the baby ducklings, which I thought were adorable. I took so many pictures. I remember wondering where we would go next. Turns out we would go to “Phillip’s City”. His son was Price Alexander of Macedonia. We were going to actually go inside the ancient city but the tickets were too expensive and there were not enough people to make a tour. I was so disappointed, but outside of the tour area, it was amazing to look at. The ruined temples
