She would try to help someone with there work even if she doesn't know how to do it. She will try to figure it out. Most of all she will go out of the way to learn something new to help someone as we'll as find a easier way to explain the subject they need help on. Jasmine is sweet , nice because no matter how bad her day is she will still smile and no show that she is having a bad day. She is a nice person to everyone and could never just
She uses the constructivist approach to learning by using prior knowledge to enhance learning and scaffolding techniques. Mrs. Mills builds self-esteem and self-concept in her students by helping them gain confidence. She is never down grading, and when she has to get on to a student she makes sure to go back and say, “Now that is what I was looking for.” Every time Mrs. Mills demonstrated a concept for her students she used modeling. Teacher modeling is especially effective with these
Small World ensures safety, love, and quality care in every aspect of childcare and security/privacy is nothing short of just that! I would also like to comment on a recent observation I made with “Kayleigh” an ABC Teacher with an ECE masters degree at Small World. Kayleigh has a very bubbly, outgoing, and motivated personality. She works hard to ensure love is given to each individual child. She always greets the parents with the children in the morning using puppets, or any form of communication that is available at the particular time.
But, her foster parents supported her as much as they could, and encouraged her to become involved in school academics and sports to keep her active and busy. The turning point for the family came one day when Nai was sent to her middle school’s principal’s office for wearing a sleeveless shirt. The principal called Nai’s foster mom to come to the school for a meeting. Nai recalls, “When my foster mom arrived at the principal’s office, she said, ‘My daughter hasn’t done anything wrong.’ She backed me up and supported me.” It was then that Nai realized that her foster mom would, “always be there for me and support
They took schooling serious, even though Sheila had endured a limited education. This shows me that her and her family has a persevering spirit and wants the best in everything. Sheila’s cousin, Nicole, also had a great interest in learning and I personally love that she took her experience with computers and taught other people about it, and she did it when knowledge of computers was also very limited. What I like about Yolanda is that she uses music as a way of expression. This was interesting to me because I can relate to it.
Williams is truly a gift that only comes sparingly to one. Often we are stuck with teachers who think they know things but are actually filled with false knowledge. But, Mrs. Williams was genuine and honest. One could say that she had a very knowledgeable vibe about her. I believe Mrs. Williams left an impact on every child who was blessed enough to have her.
She used this to her advantage by being the go-between for the deaf and the hearing. “Like storytelling, that incessant loving rush of explaining and repositioning and telling again, all for the sake of finding something shared, something mutually recognized -- so interpreting seemed to me. It seemed a kind of goodness”, according to Leah Cohen’s story A Train Go Sorry (1995, p.137). It was because of her father’s position at the school that he was able to use interpreting as a way to stand out as well as help those who needed it. She became a great student and advocate working to help the hearing community around them understand the challenges the deaf faced and never quit being an advocate for them.
Single sex education is also beneficial because boys and girls build their confidence and self-esteem up when learning in separate classrooms, boys and girls have different learning skills, and there is no sexual pressure within single sex schooling. Single sex education is just as beneficial as co-education. "One of the key arguments supporting single-sex programs is that they create an institutional and classroom climate in which female students can express themselves freely and frequently, and develop higher order thinking skills (Salomone, 2006)." Within a co-education classroom, students worry about what others think of them so they cannot express their feelings in class discussions; or they are afraid to raise their hand to ask a question because they do not want to be teased or ridiculed. According to girlslearndifferently.com, in a single sex education classroom, students develop cognitive skills and they feel free to express themselves in class discussions.
As a conclusion, my mother is my blessed gift in my life. There are many people who have inspired me in many ways but, my mother who inspired me the most. I admire her very much because she teaches me what I should do and what I should not. I am so proud to have her as my mother and also appreciate for what she did for me. (454
