One of the best scenery spots that my family and I have come to enjoy would be Sandia Crest. We take a drive up to the Crest once a month to enjoy the view and the wildlife that we see on the way to the top. Sandia Crest sits a mile above the surrounding countryside and two miles above sea level. While sitting at the top of the Crest you will have an 11,000 square-mile panoramic view. On some days it is a very clear view and on others a very foggy view.
Iceland is a country located at the very north of the Atlantic Ocean, on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. One of the main reasons I chose Iceland as my topic is because of its many interesting features such as its volcanic activity, and the presence of mountains and glaciers. Not only that, but Iceland is also home to a very unique culture and one of my favorite bands originates from there. I also have a very close friend who took a trip to Iceland recently. It’s surrounded by three guest houses larger than most people's primary residences, 127 acres of gardens, an outdoor swimming pool named for the Roman god of the sea, tennis courts and in Hearst's day the world's largest private zoo, Hearst Castle could justifiably be called a monument to eccentric excess, on a scale not possible in the twenty-first century.
On May 13, 1859 John H. Gregory presented $8 of gold that he mined near Clear Creek, bringing back up the excitement by the end of May causing everyone to leave everything they were doing, building houses, bar-keepers, etc. to join the rush, again. Well-known journalists from various newspapers hike up to Gregory Gulch, where they saw that panning for gold could average $21 up to $500 a day. They published their findings in the Rocky Mountain News, which ended bringing five hundred new comers daily, who set up camps throughout Central
Their most famous example was the jewel Samarkand. When Timuri-Lang had made Samarkand the capital, he brought artisans, engineers, and scholars from all over the conquered lands in Asia. He made Samarkand the most beautiful place. There were mosques, temples, and all different types of architecture. It could have been obviously seen by any outsider that Samarkand was a very diverse and beautiful place to live in.
