MOSES Moses is one of the most fascinating people of all times. He was born of Hebrew parents, slaves of the Egyptians, but was raised by Pharaoh's daughter, and treated like one of Pharaoh's sons. He was one of the only people that opposed Pharaoh that did not end up with his head on a platter. He gave up his privileged life in Pharaoh's palace and position as a possible heir, to serve God instead. He is one of the few humans to speak to God in person, deliver God's instructions and lead God's people to the Promise Land. Moses understood what it was to be able to go up the mountain a regular man and returned shinning. Moses was born about 1500 B.C (before Christ). One of the commandments are not to worship any false idols (none of any kind). Moses was angered by the people's lack of faith in God and threw the Ten Commandments breaking them at a golden calf they chose to worship rather than God. Moses asked God to forgive His people. God forgave them, and returned the Ten Commandments. God told Moses to continue to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land that he had promised to the great leaders before him. Moses lead the Israelites to the Promise land but was not allowed to enter because he broke faith and failed to demonstrate God's holiness to the people in the wilderness, he was only shown from a distance but never entered. Moses died when he was 120 years old. The Bible says that Moses' eyesight was clear and he was as strong as ever when he died. To this day, know one really knows where Moses is buried. There has never been another prophet like Moses, who the Lord spoke to face to face. God used Moses to perform all kinds of signs and wonders in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh and all over his land. It was through Moses that God showed his power and terrifying acts in the site of all
