(18) However, she enjoyed going to the park where people of all ages enjoyed and played a part. “Miss Brill discovered what it was that made it so exciting. They were all on the stage. They weren’t only the audience, not only looking on; they were acting. Even she had a part and came every Sunday.”(9) She even enjoyed of being an invisible person by eavesdropping in other’s lives.
First of all, Miss Brill is a lonely old lady, who is a school teacher and lives in France. In her spare time she likes to get dressed up in her fur wrap and then go to the park. There she listens to other people's conversations and is being judgemental. Her life is dull and other people’s happiness make her appreciate life. Elisa is similar in the way she enjoys her routine.
She would let her imagination run wild and this kept her spirit alive. Many people who look back at her story today admire Anne for her strength and optimism. Anne usually felt like “the world was slowly being transformed into a wilderness”, but she never gave up hope. She believed, “that everything would change for the better and that the cruelty would end”. Her writing revealed creativity, wisdom, and depth of emotion.

Jones EH 104 January 21, 2015 Outline ❏ The story focuses on Miss Brill, and her weekly day at the park ❏ Miss Brill has heart problems, possibly an elderly woman ❏ “She felt a tingling in her hands and arms, but that came from walking, she supposed. And when she breathed, something light and sad - no, not sad, exactly - something gentle seemed to move in her bosom.” ❏ Miss Brill is either a widow or never married ❏ Miss Brill must be shy ❏ This was disappointing, for Miss Brill always looked forward to the conversation. She had become really quite expert, she thought, at listening as though she didn't listen, at sitting in other people's lives just for a minute while they talked round her. ❏ Miss Brill doesn’t

After being indulged in this project with Gloria, it really helped me to get to know her more. Gloria was very caring, intelligent, and also ambitious. In her spare time, she participated in community service activities; she believed that it was very important to give back to the community. She would go to homeless shelters and help serve food during the holidays. In addition, every Saturday she attended a community college to tutor kids with special needs.
She says her two classified students are very open about their home life, which makes it easy for her to recognize distant setting events and antecedents or present setting events. She said she does not really want to discuss any specific events for classified reasons, but she says that both of her students are very affected by distant setting events and that she and her staff usually spend a great deal of time in the morning trying to calm her students down and make them feel more comfortable. She also mentions that things like the weather can also trigger behaviors. As for antecedents within the classroom, Ms. Watkins says that while she and her staff do their best to prevent these types of situations, there will always be something unaccounted for that can trigger a behavior. She says that when dealing with such sensitive children, it is extremely, and she emphasized extremely important to be aware of the child’s surroundings at all times in order to provide them with the most safe and successful learning environment.
I love hearing about my clients families and learning all the different things about them as service users enjoys hearing tales about my 2 boys. I always try to find a common interest with my clients so that they feel more confident and relaxed when we are having a conversation I feel if they are relaxed and smiling they become more accepting of care as some service users struggle with the aspects of care. I have a service user who is partially blind and deaf and loves hearing tales about my family and what we have been up to at the weekend as she is housebound so unable to go out anymore so she loves hearing stories of what we do. Sometimes she will tell me of places she went to when she was younger in the Lake District and describes what it was like, I then try and go to visit these places with my children so that I can describe it to her and hope she can relive the memories through what I am telling her. I try to take
