The sole purpose of the Pink Ribbon, inc. documentary is to tell about the pink ribbon campaigns and what effect is has on the breast cancer community. Prompting this occasion is the research of the cure and the inability to find one, millions of dollars are raised each year by all of the campaigns, such as Row for the Cure, Jump for Hope, and Race for the Cure etc., but what is unknown still today is where is that money raised going too and why is there still no cure found? Although the cure is not found, there are many factors said to affect the cause. Such as not smoking, eating healthy and working out can help prevent breast cancer. As a woman gets older, her chance of getting breast cancer increases, just as a family history of breast cancer can be a cause.

The recommendation that I believe would do the most good toward getting more URMs into the medical field would be the one that addresses the costs and financing of health professions education. This recommendation involves the reexamination of costs and financing of health professions training with an emphasis on the reduction or elimination of many health care field training costs for those that have low-incomes or are members of a URM. First off I think that all of the other recommendations are great and would defiantly help, but when it comes right down to it our world revolves around the almighty dollar. We can do everything in the world, even beg minority’s to get into the health care field, but they won’t be able to do it if they can’t afford the education. So, making changes in costs and financing would go a long way toward removing the financial obstacle, that way the other recommendations have a much better chance of being successful.

People have to look at the current health care arena before we go on criticizing the health care reform. The health care reform might be a little pricy, but it out wait the current one that we have. In the long run, the health care reform will eliminate $2.5 trillion of federal spending, enough to boost the GDP by 18%. On top of that, everyone would be insured through the health care reform. It would basically fund itself, because everyone would be participating, it would cost less, due to the mass resources combined.
1907 School Medical Inspections: Doctors and nurses were sent to school to inspect children and identify a health problem if one. However, up until 1912 there was still a cost for the medicine. 1907 Education Act: Poor children were given a chance to go to private school through exam. However, there was still a class-split. The higher classes didn’t need an exam to enter, yet the poorer ones did.
The very old and very young will be the ones to suffer. The children who otherwise would not receive medical care without the state and federally funded health insurance, because if the parents are working they may not have ability to pay for health insurance. This group would be the ones who would starve without the food assistance programs. The current legislative proposals dealing with welfare reform include many states looking to implement mandatory drug testing tor recipients. Reforming the welfare system will save the
The Cartel The Cartel shows the educational system like we have never seen it before. The Documentary shed the light on what are the problems with the U.S education and also showed what is causing these problems. It shows what happens when our schools are not doing their job. America spends too much money in education; the government gives billion of dollars every year to the public school districts. But even with all that funding they are not seeing very good results.
