Have you ever admired somebody whom you have never seen before? Nothing is impossible. Michael Grimm, who won America’s Got Talent in 2010, proved for that. Michael Grimm was raised in Mississippi by his loving grandparents after his parents divorced. His grandmother played piano in a Baptist church built by her father, who is a preacher. Outside of church, his grandparents were true Country Music fans. As a 12-year-old, Michael Grimm was escorted by his Grandma to the local southern Mississippi bars where he would perform the songs of George Jones, Travis Tritt and other Country artists. “She loved to listen to me sing, and she thought that was the way to get my career started,” Grimm says. America’s Got Talent is a big show with many talented people. To win and get one million dollar is not easy to do. He used to think that he came to this contest, just because he wanted to show his voice to public. Moreover, he wanted the world knows him. However, he felt that he could not win in this competition, he had though many people are better than he did. A month before big show, he had spent many times to practice. Although he knew that he owned a good voice, he is still modest. He worked very hard to sing standard and perfect songs which was ready for the show. Ten hours a day to do singing exercise is not a small number, and success only comes with persons who were diligent. He won the contest by his effort and diligence. Finally, he also has filial devotion with his grandparents. People around the U.S. came to the show with many different reasons, but Grimm wanted to win the money price. Why did he need money? His grandma had been brought a fatal disease without money to operation. He earned money to help her illness, but it seems impossible with his negligible salary. He really needed money to save her, and that was a big reason he came to this show. He is respectful grandchild. He made me cry when he told about the reality of his situation. He has many good characters for which I have to study. In conclusion, talented, well-behaved, and assiduous have created Michael Grimm. Life is not easy for any people, so we have to
