Introduction: In this essay I will be reviewing and evaluating movies with critic’s reviews on the films by Michael Bay. I will also be looking at his total gross per movie on box office and will try to find out the reason behind it. I will also be looking at what problems he faced during the shoots? And what does Bay do about the negative critics review? Which are the shots that bay like to shoot? Is there any repetitive shots in his movies? After establishing his career as award winning music and commercial director, Michael Bay quickly emerged as Hollywood’s biggest, loudest and top grossing movie maker of all time. Bay launched his directorial career with movie ‘Bad boys’ starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The movie turned out to be a box office hit of the year 1995, with a total gross of $141 million. This was just a debut movie, his second movie ‘The Rock’ another blockbuster with a total gross of $335million.His third movie was the biggest hit of all time ‘Armageddon’ with a total gross of $554 million. One can say that Michael Bay is the most consistent director in industry, who had provided action packed large budgets box office hits. He has also directed movies such as Pearl harbour, a sequence of bad boys, The island and the sequeal of Transformers, with all the hit titles under his name, Bay has altogether made $2.6 billion at Box office. According to report by D. Pomerantz in Forbes magazine along with money, Michael has also made his share of enemies but it’s not just Bay, to have clashes with the crew in Hollywood, there are many other directors and actors who had clashes with each other and not only Hollywood, Bollywood has clashes too. For example Choreographer Saroj Khan had clash with mostly everyone in the Bollywood Film Industry (BFI) during the shoots. It doesn’t matter how much actors and crew members hates Michael but
