After listening to this week tutorial, I believe that it is a sexual harassment case. The EEOC defines the Sexual harassment as a form of sex discrimination that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment when this conduct explicitly or implicitly affects an individual's employment, unreasonably interferes with an individual's work performance, or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. The harassment in this case is so severe and pervasive that it creates a hostile work environment for Brittany. She definitely has a legally viable claim for a hostile environment sexual harassment.
In my response to the Metoo movement, No matter what, the beautiful little women, I want to know that if you ever find yourself in a situation in the workplace where you either are experiencing sexual assault or sexual harassment you should immediately complain and stand up for your rights. And if you see other co-workers being harassed or being treated dishonestly because of the races, ages, background, regions, disability, working in different industries, sexual orientation, then I appeal you to stand up and be a

Sexual harassment takes place in three forms these are; verbal, nonverbal and through physical advancement made towards an individual. All these forms mostly take place at the work place and therefore making the environment hostile for its employees( Swedish equal opportunity act. 2005) .sexual harassment can be committed by an individual verbally. I will make sure that I let my manager know and report and record this in private but if the allegation is about my manager or the manager is unwilling to do anything, I will follow my company policy of reporting abuse and report to CQC. Explain the actions to take if an individual alleges that they are being abused If an individual alleges that they are being abused, I will make sure that I listen to the individual carefully to know exactly what happened. If it is in my place of work and the name of the person that abused the individual is known, whether
The dynamics of the workplace was jeopardized because several people dated romantically. However, most companies now have policies against supervisors and managers engaging in relationships with subordinates; the CRA will acknowledge this union and take the decision of promoting the subordinate out of the hands of the supervisor or manager he/she is involved with. Management and subordinate relationships have been known to be disruptive of key positioning and of the ethical infrastructure that ensures the equal opportunity that is guaranteed to all employees through corporate policy. The Consensual Relationship Agreement also protects the employer and employees in sexual harassment claims, by providing documented proof of consensual interaction signed between both parties. Sexual Harassment has been one of the largest issues that employers face; but the CRA gives documentation of non-professional romantic relationships which exist
INTRODUCTION It is an obligation of an employer to aggressively protect their employees from any form of Harassment and discrimination in the workplace. To instill a zero tolerance towards these issues, it is crucial for employers to educate themselves and their employees on issues, regulations and policies associated with them. In the following dissertation, I plan to describe how laws, regulations and policies against sexual harassment, harassment and discrimination in the workplace play a vital role on the business brand and relations with all employees regardless of nationality. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for sexual harassment defines sexual harassment as unwelcomed sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal/Non- verbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Harassment includes but not limited to any offensive conduct that has the purpose of effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work performance or creating an intimidating, offensive, or hostile environment.
Although this hidden secret has been exposed, companies are unfortunately doing little to correct the issue. A company’s failure to quickly identify and immediately stop the ethical problem of sexual harassment in the workplace, will ultimately result in lowered employee morale, decline in productivity, costly lawsuits, and destruction of the company’s reputation. I strongly agree that the ethical problem of sexual harassment is a serious reality in the work environment that must be identified quickly and stopped immediately. In my career in the United States Navy, I have witnessed and experienced numerous cases of sexual harassment. Consequently, I personally know and understand how sexual harassment can truly affect a person emotionally, physically, and mentally.
Employment rights, Equalities and Discrimination Law and Health & Safety Legislation. These employment legislations should exist so that both employees and employers will be protected. Describe the main features of your workplace bullying and harassment policies and the procedures to follow. If the employee is not doing the right things or don’t obey my mom, she will talk to him individually. My mom will explain why we need to do this, what is the purpose of that to convince him. This one of the reason to be a good leader and my mom have the condition. “A good leader ensures a safe place of work for staff.” This is really important to have wherever you work. Keep the company safe is the most important thing to become a good leader, because if you didn’t have a safe environment how can you make all the employee to trusting in you.
“Harassment is a form of employment discrimination that violated the VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.”(U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, 2009). To make it clear, discrimination at the workplace is the act of harassing a workers colleague or an employee being harassed by their boss or even a boss being harassed by a co-worker. In this case, the employees or supervisor feel distress or even hostility. Therefore, employers need to write a harassment policy to keep a healthy working environment and employees need to learn how to keep their workplace environment healthy.
