Aside from the class content I learned that I don’t wait for things to happen I went into this telling my group that under no circumstance could I lead this project but I found myself incapable of waiting for things to evolve on their own, I have more of a leader personality than I thought. How did the interpersonal dynamics affect your participation? If there were conflicts, how were they resolved? I am not shy and I was able to communicated with team members well, we had fun most of the time. Unfortunately we did not have a good dynamic with at least 1 team member which cause a quite a bit of delay and frustration, but we were able to side step this for the most part and push on with the objectives.
They display more control of their emotions and can offer creativity and an enjoyable atmosphere at work. However, they both are very intense with their emotions and feelings. This sometimes might need to be taken down a notch. Adam displays a lack of motivation and contribution to people at work, although he seems to be a very good decision maker. If these three employees were to work with one another they may be able to help those with lack of motivation.
Selected Citations from Poor Richard's Almanack “None but the well-bred man knows how to confess a fault, or acknowledge himself in an error.” and “How few there are who have courage enough to own their Faults, or resolution enough to mend them!” These quotations basically mean that most people don't like to look inside themselves and see their flaws. A well-bred and courageous person sees who they are and acknowledges it without getting discouraged or insecure. The second part means that most people go on with their lives dealing with their flaws and trying to fix them to make themselves a better person. We all know that as humans it is in our nature that we make mistakes and faults but few of us have the guts to acknowledge their faults. These quotes is relevant to me that in every fault or failure I make I don’t have to be defensive about it but accept these mistakes and to use them as stepping stone to improve myself and change for the better.
She is emotionally stable. | Reinforcing the behavior she already exudes and not over-bearing her with new and complicated things | Reinforcement theory is based on behavior. It is not a theory of motivation, but is exactly what someone who lacks imagination needs. | Adam | 3.6 | Adam has shown that he is a team player and is willing to go above and beyond at work, however in order to use his full potential he needs to be able to find his time to shine within a group. | Adam already seems to use the self-determination strategy, however we at Riordan Manufacturing feel that in order for Adam to be more successful, and if he is serious about management, he should look into the goal-setting strategy.
I also think he believes that the other office staff were happy for him to cover, purely because it was a short term thing, and potentially they couldn’t be bothered with the additional workload. The fact that he did the job well seems irrelevant to Mr X. He has
PAD 515 Week 3 Discussion Carver is missing some very basic values and attitudes. He is missing being considerate, respectful, fair, cooperativeness. The changes that Carver needs to make are numerous. The changes will be difficult for him to sustain, as they are not his “style”, but change can be achieved, as with anything, if he works on his values and attitudes. It will more than likely take his subordinates and co-workers even longer to trust that he has changed and that he will adhere to his new found values and attitudes.

Gilgamesh never thought about how hard his people had it, and he would have continued to think that they had it easier than they really did. He would have never figured it out unless he had the experience, which he did thanks to Enkidu. In the end, Enkidu really changed Gilgamesh’s perspective on the world and they way things are when you’re not being waited on all the time. Enkidu made Gilgamesh realize that he had to help others out and can’t just be helped. He made him know what it was like to have a loving friend, and the devastation of loosing one.
The down side of being a pragmatist is that you can’t stand change. Pragmatists definitely are not unnecessary risk takers; therefore I rarely ever fail in life either. Pragmatists go along to get along, which can substantially limit the negative aspects of conflict, but that can be tiring after awhile. I tend to be content with life which is a good thing really. As a pragmatist, I am also a realist; therefore I can sometime frustrate the dreamers of the
These were the little statements such as “Sorry weirdos-I love you, but she has a point.” or, “Sadly, I couldn’t get anyone to connect with me-for some reason, nobody wanted me to track their every movement?” These are small humorous additions to the story that without them the story is still great but with them it keeps the reader wanting to read more and even though small, they are a large help to Honan’s story and he does a nice job of adding them in places they fit and not just throwing them in randomly throughout his writing. In conclusion, Mathew Honan does a lot of things right when righting this story, He makes a few mistakes like including too much of his personal life and telling the world that his wife will be home alone for a week, but what he does right including making himself relevant in the beginning of the story, using his personal experiences Hale 4 effectively and making the reader want to read more, and I definitely believe that the things Honan does right in the story without a doubt trump the things he did not do right. No one can write a perfect story, there will always be small changes that could take place, but Mathew Honan did a wonderful job with his essay “I Am Here”. It was not only informational; it told a story and was even funny and quirky at times. He certainly wrote a story that kept the reader reading and I would say that is what is most
