Assessment Summary MGT/311 Monday-July 23, 2012 Assessment Summary Discussed below is a summary of self-assessments given to three different people at work. In some assessments they have similar scores and some they are very different. Moreover, they all reveal what type of work they may contribute and what areas they may need a little work. Additionally is a summary of my own self-assessment. When looking over the assessment ‘How Satisfied Am I with my Job?’ I discovered that Brian and Jacqui’s scores where very close to one another. They both had very high scores indicating that they were satisfied with their jobs. Adam scored low and seems that he may have an issue with management and his content with his job. The next assessment was ‘Am I Engaged?’ Although these scores where quite close, Brian and Jacqui had higher scores than Adam. It seems that they are more engaged in their jobs and dedicate more time an effort into daily tasks. This might be affected by the discontent that Adam feels towards his job. They display more control of their emotions and can offer creativity and an enjoyable atmosphere at work. However, they both are very intense with their emotions and feelings. This sometimes might need to be taken down a notch. Adam displays a lack of motivation and contribution to people at work, although he seems to be a very good decision maker. If these three employees were to work with one another they may be able to help those with lack of motivation. Others may be able to help with controlling their emotions and making a logical decision. With my own assessment, I have gained the confidence to be creative and work with my peers. I have learned that my emotions can have a positive or a negative affect depending on the situation. This assessment has taught me what actions are like in a work
