Change Management and Communication Plan Terrance D. Brown MGT/311 July 21, 2014 Dr. James Bottorff Next Step in the Change Process Now that we have established that our communication format in which we get information to our employees needs to change, what it needs to be changed to, and how quickly it needs to change, we need to move on to the next step. The next step is implementing the changes that have been formulated to improve communication. The type of communication that will be used is face-to-face communication along with live speeches. Face-to-face communication has been proven to be one of the best ways to get a message out to the employees. While conducting face-to-face communication, we can read body language and mannerisms that will indicated whether the message is being understood or not. This also gives each employee a chance to voice their opinion on whether or not they agree with all aspects of the change. Being able to get messages out as fast, and as accurate as possible, is the best way to ensure everyone is on the same page. While live messages may have its disadvantages, they can prove to be more of an advantage than a hindrance. They do take time away from production of valuable parts, but, in a sense, they make the job flow a lot better. These live messages will be presented in an open forum, and allow employees to raise questions if need be. Also, this will cut down on the time it takes to communicate a message to everyone. Everyone will get the message at the same time, which will drastically reduce the time of nonproduction. These changes are implemented
