Routing of the proposed double 132kV overhead transmission line closely follows that of the existing132kV line in many locations. As a result there are several locations where the new line crosses over the existing 132kV line. c. The existing 132kV line must remain operational wherever possible to ensure a secure electricity supply until the proposed overhead transmission line can be energised. B. GENERAL SAFETY a. Whenever dismantling is taking place, barricade the area and place proper signage if the area is accessible to public. b.
