Accessorize. | We chose the International brand ACCESSORIZE for our assignment. ACCESSORIZE is a UK based brand which was found in 1973. Accessorize evolved in the early 1980s as an a novelty fashion accessories in an adjoining shop to the Monsoon, Covent Garden Piazza branch. Location: The outlet we chose to visit for our assignment was an International brand called “ACCESSORIZE” which is located in a freshly launched, lavish shopping mall, Safa Gold in sector F-6, Islamabad. Accessorize occupies a spacious place on the ground floor of the mall. Merchandise/Display: The moment you step into the store, you’re bound to feel like you’ve stepped into a teenage girl’s over-fulfilled fantasy. Such is the décor and the ambiance exuded by the shop. Special care has been taken in designing the background and the shelves. The items are categorized and arranged onto shelves. When asked the Manager whether the store layout and design has an effect on sales, he agreed and said that special care is taken in the beautification of the store. Accessorize has its own décor team that takes care of such details. Target Market: A ‘target market’ refers to a segment of a market at which a company aims to sell their product.
